一、課程簡介COURSE DESCRIPTION
本課程分為兩部分(四個學分)，分別是系統神學(四)和基督教護教學。有關系統神學(四)的課程如下：There are two parts in this four-credit-hour course. They are Systematic Theology IV and Christian Apologetics. The theology section is as follows:
系統神學(四)
教會合一是近代基督教福音派發展的難題。本課程探討教會的本質、模式、功用及合一的基礎，及研究聖禮(包括洗禮及聖餐)、末世論及末世事情等教義，藉此幫助同學在不同的教義和傳統習慣中，認識合一的重要性。
Systematic Theology IV
The Unity of the Church is a difficult issue for the development of contemporary Christian evangelicalism. This course examines the nature, models, and functions of the church, the foundation of the unity of the church, the doctrine of sacrament, eschatology and the last things. Through the above study the purpose of this course is to help students being in various doctrines and traditional customs realize the importance of the unity of the church.
二、課程要求 COURSE REQUIREMENTS
For Systematic Theology
Students are required:
•to write a research paper研究論文(40%), which is required to hand in on April 28, 08. The paper should be three to four thousand words, not including footnotes. It should have thesis, topic, bibliography, outline, footnotes/endnotes. Penalty Attached to Late Assignment. Paper would be due at the end of April 28, 2008. In the research paper students are demanded: (同學須要寫一分研究論文(40%)，論文要求三千至四千字(不包括註腳)，邀交的論文必須隔行書寫，並必須有大綱、注腳、主旨、題目、及書目。論文須要在2008年4月28日繳交。更重要的，論文必須附合以下要求)：
to present clearly the topic and thesis of their paper (that is, what you want to prove in your paper),
to prove your thesis (in this sense, students are required to read the primary source related to their paper)
to write and organize their ideas clearly
to substantiate their own position
not to write a paper, which compares and contrasts two or more positions in a certain specific theological problem or controversy, and then to spell out your resolution
•To hand in a detailed bibliography with clear topic, thesis and ten related works(10%), which is demanded to hand in on February 25, 08.。繳交論文的題目、主旨和詳細書目(必須有十本與論文主旨相關的書籍)。遲交功課將會被扣分。
•One Midterm and One Final Examination 中期及期終考試(25 % each).
